More than meets the eye

Before this, I've sworn never to buy hasbro ever again. I have my reasons, and in a way i still dont like them.

and then came Revenge of the Fallen. So I saw the new figs... and could resist the temptation to have them. and I did.

Which led to my new interest, custom paint. The figures look plasticky(hasbro) so I bought some paint and started brushing. Not bad for a noobie :)

Moving out.

Decided to move my toys out to the living room, because my room can no longer accommodate any more stuff. Plus, it gives them more exposure so I can show them off.

In the cabinet, I have the Star Wars Unleashed lot, the early phase of my collection.

And then I have some clone troopers and 3.75" figures.

And here comes the Transformers. my first collection ever!

Could'nt fit everything in the cabinet, so I had to put some near by.

And not forgetting my Star Wars vehicles including the Millenium Falcon!

Why so serious?

I like Star Wars..... 

but apart from that, The Dark Knight movie became one of my fav. movie of all time. And of course, what caught my eye was...The Joker. Pity Heath Ledger had to die, but then again the timing was Ironically perfect. Death at his prime. R . I . P

I bought the 12" figure of the JOKER. (for those who know the difference, mine is no HT but DC Direct.) Nice, I must say, 

 .

Revenge of the fallen

Prior to the movie, I checked how the new toys should cope with olds ones. NICE. The new PRIME and MEGATRON, awesome but out of my budget. But I found out that The Fallen is actually a character in the movie. So I googled it and found a pic, 

One of the best that I've seen, and I must have one. So I went to Ampang Point and found one, out-of-the-box fallen(I dont mind anyway) .

The Fallen transforms into a Jet (Like Megatron). And I also bought a Robot Replica of Starscream, with the cybertronian markings. Im pretty satisfied with both.

Sideshow

12in figures didnt really appeal to me at first, until I found one at a reasonable price.

It was a luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight). 

I was pretty much bargain hunting for my next sideshow, and I found a Han Solo for a good price as well

And I also got Anakin Skywalker as well.

Im not ALL TOYS...

before I started collecting these toys, I was mostly into the fine art of magic.

Why Poker?

Simple, everytime I do a card trick someone always end up asking "you must be good at gambling huh?". So instead of prolonging these questions, I do poker demonstrations to simply say yes before the question even come up. 

And besides, there is no better magic than real life applications. Sorta like those wizards. :)
